- 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional: 1 tablespoon cornstarch or panko for extra crispiness
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix lemon juice, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Add chicken pieces to the marinade, toss to coat, cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 2 hours.
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
- Arrange chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Optional: coat with cornstarch or panko for extra crispiness.
- Cook for 10–12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through. Ensure internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Let rest 2–3 minutes before serving.
