Description

A gourmet, creamy spread made from pure pistachios, perfect for sweet and savory dishes—rich in nutrients, heart-healthy fats, and flavor.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups shelled roasted pistachios (unsalted)
  • 12 tsp neutral oil (avocado or grapeseed), optional
  • Pinch of sea salt, optional
  • Optional: ½ tsp honey, cinnamon, or vanilla for flavor

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F if pistachios are not already roasted.
  2. Spread pistachios on a baking sheet and roast for 6–8 minutes until golden and fragrant.
  3. Cool slightly and transfer to a food processor.
  4. Blend by pulsing, then continuously for 5–10 minutes, scraping sides as needed.
  5. Add oil gradually if necessary for texture.
  6. Add salt or flavorings to taste, then blend again.
  7. Transfer to a glass jar and store in the fridge for up to 4 weeks.

Notes

Use warm nuts to blend faster. Add oil only if needed. For extra smoothness, strain through a mesh sieve. Always refrigerate and use clean utensils to extend shelf life.
