- 15 oz ricotta or cottage cheese

- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Italian seasoning, salt, pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta or cottage cheese, egg, Parmesan, salt, and pepper.
- Combine cooked ground meat with sauce in a separate bowl.
- Spread a layer of sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
- Place a layer of dry Ronzoni noodles over the sauce.
- Spread cheese mixture over the noodles.
- Add meat sauce, then a layer of shredded mozzarella.
- Repeat layers until dish is nearly full.
- Top with noodles, sauce, and remaining cheese.
- Cover tightly with foil and bake for 40 minutes.
- Uncover and bake another 10–15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg to the cheese mixture or fresh basil to the sauce. Letting the lasagna rest before slicing ensures clean layers.
